Stephanie J. Wilson
Principal

Stephanie J. Wilson co-founded ACCESS Medical Development and serves as a Managing Principal.
Previously, Ms. Wilson founded and was president of ACCESS Development Group. She has been involved with numerous successful medical development projects.
Ms. Wilson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee.
Ms. Wilson is an active member of numerous triangle organizations including President of the Board of the Women’s Center of North Carolina, Triangle Commercial Realtors Association, Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women, Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, Interact, Ronald McDonald House and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

 

William T. Smith
Principal
Prior to founding ACCESS, Bill served as President of The Centre Group, Inc. in Raleigh, NC. While there he handled all phases of real estate development. Prior to that, he was the Senior Marketing and Development Manager in charge of North Carolina for the Rouse Company and McCormick Properties.
Mr. Smith has been instrumental to the success of over one hundred and twenty three projects involving elements of development, finance, deal structure, design-build, space planning, construction management, sales, leasing and property management.
Mr. Smith, a double major, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a Minor in Accounting from North Carolina State University. Additionally, he holds a North Carolina General Contractors Unlimited Building license as well as a North Carolina Brokers License. He is a past winner of the Sir Walter Raleigh Award, which is presented by the City of Raleigh Planning Commission that recognizes excellence in Development Projects.
He is an avid boater, as well as a collector of vintage cars and motorcycles.

 

Elizabeth Upchurch
Elizabeth Upchurch, a Pinehurst, North Carolina native, graduated from Appalachian State University in December of 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, Public Relations.  She began working at ACCESS Medical Development in January of 2007.  Since then, she has become the Public Relations Specialist handling all client relations, advertising, and marketing needs of the company.  Before joining ACCESS Elizabeth Upchurch worked with the Watauga Medical Center to create an extensive crisis communication plan as well as worked with the Watauga County Chapter of the American Red Cross as their Communications Director.  Elizabeth is also a member of the North Carolina Chapter of the PRSA.   
Elizabeth enjoys calling North Carolina home, whether heading to the Blue Ridge Mountains to see her alma mater play football or down to Bogue Sound with her family she is always finding her next adventure.

Matt Cockman
As Property Manager, Matthew Cockman is in charge of the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all properties for ACCESS Medical Development. He handles tenant relations and is the direct line of communication for all of ACCESS’ tenants. He coordinates and manages subcontractors on a daily basis in order to efficiently operate all properties.
Prior to joining ACCESS, Matt was a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a BA in Geography. Following graduation, he attended the JY Monk Real Estate School in Raleigh to obtain his Provisional Broker’s License and is currently in the process of becoming a full broker in North Carolina.
Matt recently married in April of 2007 and enjoys traveling to Topsail Beach with his wife and spending time with his family. He enjoys watching and participating in just about any competitive sport, as well as fishing, water sports, and snow skiing.

Clyde Copeland
Mr. Copeland is a member of the New Business Development team at ACCESS Medical Development. Mr. Copeland is responsible for coordinating with ACCESS’ outside brokerage partners and clients to seek out and initiate new development opportunities.
Prior to joining ACCESS, Mr. Copeland marketed pharmaceutical products as well as an advanced cardiovascular diagnostic test to physicians, hospitals and managed care organizations. Mr. Copeland’s medical sales experience gives him an in-depth understanding of the healthcare industry.
Mr. Copeland received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Managerial Economics from Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, Virginia. Mr. Copeland has an active North Carolina Broker’s License.
Mr. Copeland enjoys spending summers on the North Carolina coast. He spends his falls helping his father on the family farm and enjoys the outdoors and hunting.

Christen Jones
Christen Jones, Leasing Agent and Broker-in-Charge of ACCESS Real Estate, began working for the Company shortly after graduating from Meredith College in May 2003 with a degree in Business Administration. Though the position began as a part-time accountant, Christen was quickly hired as a full-time Property Manager by September 2003. Responsibilities of Property Manager included overseeing all of the operational and financial aspects of the ACCESS properties.
While still performing Property Management duties, Christen also began assisting with the leasing activities of ACCESS properties. After dipping into that part of commercial real estate, Christen decided that leasing and sales was the direction she was interested in pursuing. Matt Cockman was hired in April 2007 to take over the Property Management duties, which made way for Christen to begin a full-time position of Leasing and Sales Agent of the ACCESS owned and developed properties.
Christen is originally from Wilmington, NC but now calls Raleigh home after living here for 12 years. She enjoys playing sports, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Christen is very passionate about music and enjoys singing and playing guitar.

Connie Reeves
Connie Reeves began working with ACCESS Medical in March of 2005 as the Bookkeeper. She had previously worked as a Controller and Office Manager for Carolina Rewards in Wake Forest, NC. Connie is a vital member to the ACCESS team because of her knowledge and experience of the daily ins and outs of the company. She is always helpful and patient with her fellow employees as well as everyone's confidant.
Connie enjoys camping and being at the ocean with her friends, family, and 2 pets, Gizmo and
Damien.

 

Jonathan Graban
